Karina Diaz

Paralegal

In December of 2019, Karina joined IBF Law Group as a paralegal. She works diligently and effectively with our clients, providing the best possible service. Her passion comes from being an immigrant herself and experiencing the challenges of our immigration system.

Karina attended Glendale Community College and earned her Associate in Arts Degree in 2017. Then in 2019, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in General Studies with an Emphasis in Social Behavior and Human Understanding from The University of Arizona. Her college awarded her the Spirit of Excellence Award for her achievements in academics and community involvement.

Karina is currently an incoming law student at Abraham Lincoln University School of Law where she plans to continue focusing on immigration law.

In 2019, Karina completed an internship at the Maricopa County Public Defender's Office as a legal assistant. During her time there she gained a vast amount of knowledge about Arizona's criminal justice system, specifically in the appeals unit.

As a member of the Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence, she is passionate about making a difference in her community. In 2018, she was awarded the Soroptimist Scholarship Award for overcoming barriers and striving to make a positive impact.
