About

Chloé Woods maintains a robust practice in Employment Law, in addition to her role as Managing Attorney of Pre-Suit claims at IBF Law Group. She is a USAF veteran, and training facilitator with experience providing legal counsel to government and non-profit organizations. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Woods enjoyed serving the public through government practice. She routinely represented client-agencies in state and federal court, as well as administrative proceedings, as an Assistant Attorney General at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, Executive Director & General Counsel of the Virgin Islands Bar Association, Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force, and Assistant City Counselor for the City of St. Louis.

Community involvement has been a consistent theme in her life, which she regards as rewarding, humbling, and formative to her development as a lawyer, leader, and advocate. Chloé is currently President of the Arizona Black Bar, President of the Collaborative Bar of Arizona, and represents Maricopa County/District 6 as a Member of the Board of Governors for the State Bar of Arizona. Other leadership roles have included serving as National Chair of the National Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, and as a member of the Board of Governors of the American Bar Association.

Woods received her Juris Doctorate from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, obtained graduate degrees from Arizona State University, and the University of Memphis, and earned her Bachelor’s from Columbia University in the City of New York. Recognized within the profession, her accolades include the National Bar Association for the 40 Under 40: Nation’s Best Advocates Award; the Arizona Black Bar "Rising Star" Award; the American Bar Association “On The Rise” Award; Greater Phoenix Urban League Young Professionals "YP Rising" Award; Missouri Lawyers Association “Leader of Tomorrow,” and selection as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, an honor only bestowed on 1% of the lawyers in any jurisdiction. Still, the title she is most proud of is “Aspen’s Mommy.”
